Panel discussion on the truth about GM Foods (Genetically Modified Foods) – panelists include Costa of Costa’s Garden Odyssey on SBS, Dr Luigi Palombi, biotech lawyer and author of “Gene Cartels”, Bob Phelps, Executive Director of Gene Ethics and Frances Murrell of MADGE.
Come and join us for a fun evening on a serious topic.
There will be GM free popcorn to keep you sustained during the movie, a tea & coffee break and some GM free snacks towards the end of the evening.

Video screening: “Dirt The Movie” – an inspiring and intriguing look at the often unregarded relationship between mother nature’s golden treasure: dirt (or soil), and the human being.
6pm for some local organic pre-movie tucker (donation of dish to share or cash welcome)

10 – 2pm: 241 Bondi Road Community Garden Dig Day. Come down between 10am and 2pm; get your hands dirty, planting and harvesting local food, whilst meeting some friendly locals. And join in to the BYO to share meal (lunch break 1pm to 2pm).
